I've just got off the phone to Martin Stiksel, one of the co-founders of music-recommendation website Last.fm.
He was unfazed by today's announcement that MySpace are entering the world of online music streaming and DRM-free downloads, questioning whether a social networking site that people use for so many different reasons can really capture the music-buying public's imagination in the same way that a dedicated platform such as Last.fm has.
