Each year there’s a definite blog band winner. You know, the band all the blogs and magazines certify as the the leading album/band of the year.

2007 could easily belong to The New Pornographers or Spoon, a year before it was all about Midlake and Band of Horses, and way back in 2005 Death Cab for Cutie’s Plans album rocked everyone’s world.
