Google TV gets very real

Taking the theme of convergence into its own hands, Google has announced that it has been working with Panasonic to build TV sets that display internet content such as pictures and video. According to a Reuters report, the TV sets will be available sometime this spring.

The sets will allow consumers direct access to Google properties like YouTube and Picasa. However, the deal is said to be non-exclusive.
